After a brief foray into Star Wars universe Sci-Fi,
I find
Henry Miller's
Plexus
staring up at me
from the shelf.
Not sure which one is more
fantasy:
a story about Stormtroopers
or Miller's attempts
at doing as little
as possible.

Miller is proof that writing
is the greatest scam of all.
Back to reading
and loving it,
getting wooed
by the shear joy of living
and constructing fantasy
from every day living.
Now if I could only make
my every day
life as a bureaucrat
half as interesting
as he made his life
with Mona.

Dillinger Smokes

Dillinger
lit up a cigarette
and watched
the smoke
fill up
the inside
of the car.
Billie reached over
to roll down the window.
"Its hard enough
breathing already."
He moved
his hand
from her thigh
and stopped her.
"Something tells me
that smoking is not
what's gonna kill me.
